Roseville Cares is a community-wide initiative in Roseville MN spotlighting the everyday acts of caring, kindness, inclusion, and mutual respect that make Roseville feel like home. Roseville Cares was begun as a collaboration between Do Good Roseville, and the Character Development Initiative of the Roseville Optimists Club.
Each February, we host a week-long celebration of caring – and every quarter we launch a new community action to keep the momentum going all year long.
We work in collaboration with local service clubs like Kiwanis, Rotary and Lions to multiply our reach, alongside schools, faith communities, businesses, local government, and individuals. There’s a place for everyone to share their time, treasure and energy.

Premise
Caring for people happens everyday in Roseville and most of the time we don’t hear about it. We’d like to shine a spotlight on all that good as a way to inspire others.
The idea of Roseville Cares Week is based on two beliefs. First that people want to do good things, and oftentimes just don’t know what to do. Roseville Cares addresses this by providing ideas and inspiration for things individuals and groups can do anytime.
However, also know that life is very busy, so it’s easy to procrastinate, and plan to do good – next week, or next month, or when a project ends, or your child gets bigger. Roseville Cares Week wants to remove that barrier by saying – THIS is the week!
Bring Your Energy. Grow the Movement.
Our mission is long-term: engage every corner of Roseville in high-impact projects that build a stronger, more connected community – one quarter at a time.
